    • Andre Onana (Manchester United):  The Cameroon national Went straight from a premier league game to Afcon to proof his worth as a goalkeeper. 
    • Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea): The young Senegalese forward impressed with his pace and finishing, showcasing his potential on the biggest stage.
    • Moussa Niakhate (Nottingham Forest): A rock at the back for Senegal, Niakhate’s leadership and defensive solidity were instrumental in their success.

    The tournament also saw strong performances from familiar names like Sofyan Amrabat (Manchester United)and Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace), while young talents like Dango Ouattara (Bournemouth) and Frank Onyeka (Brentford) gained valuable experience.

    Player POV: AFCON is a whirlwind, but it’s also a chance to grow as a player.  The experience will fuel me for the rest of the season back in the Premier League.  I’m returning with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper connection to my roots. Now, let’s get back to the club and chase some more trophies!
