The Gunners continued their streak with a convincing win away at American Express Stadium on Saturday 6th April 2024. The Gunners as always were relentless in their high press style and manged to get a break through when star boy Saka calmy netted a penalty. After the first goal, the second was inevitable and current forward Kai Havertz managed to score the second in the 62nd minute. Super sub, Leandro Trossard made a late appearance to the game but proved why he is a hidden gem and managed to seal the deal with a chip over the keeper making it 3-0 in the 86th minute.

- David Raya (7) Made a brilliant save to deny a spectacular curling effort from Julio Enciso, other than that he was not troubled.
- Ben White (6) back at his old club, made some good overlaps and good crosses.
- William Saliba (7) solid performance from the centre back again keeping it tight and compact at the back.
- Gabriel (6) the partnership and understanding with Saliba at the back is getting better and better.
- Zinczenko (6) as per usual got involved with a lot of Arsenals build up play and put in a decent performance.
- Jorginho (7) set up Arsenals second goal and controlled the midfield well.
- Decan Rice (7) played a decent game according to his standards and missed an opportunity to get on the scoresheet.
- Saka (7) after missing the game against Luton with a muscle issue he is back again with a goal from the penalty spot kick.
- Kai Havertz (8) it looks like he has found his feet after scoring yet and tap in for the Gunners,
- Gabriel Jesus (6) almost scored a curler of an effort but was denied by Brighton keeper.
- Martinelli 6, decent performance.
Brighton
- Bart Verbruggen (6.0) Made a couple of good saves but couldn’t prevent The Gunners goals.
- Jan Paul Van Hecke (5.5) Struggled to contain Arsenal’s attack, particularly in the second half.
- Jakub Moder (5.0) Had a poor game overall, at fault for The Gunners second goal.
- Julio Enciso (6.0) Brighton’s best player created some good chances but lacked support.
- Danny Welback (5.5) Quiet game by his standards, couldn’t get into dangerous positions.
What’s next
The Gunners have a tough run of games coming ahead with the first being on 9th April 2024 where they take on Bayern away at the Allianz Arena. Back for the premier league on Sunday 14 April 2024 they take on Aston Villa who have just drawn to Brentford 3-3 and Wolves on Saturday 20 April 2024. Brighton has an even tougher list of games ahead and with Burnley being their first opponent on the 13 April 2024 at 16:00 CAT and the big clash against lead favourites Manchester City on the 25th April 2024 at 21:00.
