The Premier Soccer League has announced ticket prices for the Nedbank Cup semi-final matches to be played in the first weekend of May.
In a statement sent to the media and Sport Plus, the Parktown-based league governing body said ticket prices will be worth R80 rand for the Last Four. According to the statement, the first semi-final encounter will be played by Orlando Pirates and Chippa at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, May 04.
Meanwhile, the clash is scheduled will get underway at 15:00 as the Chilli Boys are set to challenge the Buccaneers’ resolve to retain their title. In the other mouthwatering semi-final encounter, Mamelodi Sundowns will visit Stellenbosch FC.

The Brazilians will be on the road for the eagerly anticipated encounter that will be played at Danie Craven Stadium on Sunday afternoon – getting underway at 15:00.
“The semifinal showdown will commence with the clash between 2021 finalists Chippa United and defending champions Orlando Pirates at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, 04 May 2024,” read the statement. The excitement continues on Sunday, 05 May 2024, at Danie Craven Stadium in the Western Cape, where Stellenbosch FC and Mamelodi Sundowns will vie for a spot in the final.”

PSL CEO Mato Madlala explained why the league opted to take the final to Mbombela Stadium, saying the motive is to spread football to all the fans across the country. The CEO who also doubles up as Golden Arrows chairman, Madlala highlighted the importance of spreading the football experience to neighbouring countries through the selection of Mpumalanga as the host venue.

Moreover, Nedbank’s Group Executive for Marketing and Corporate Affairs Khensani Nobanda, said their ambition is to continue their commitment to the fans.
“And in the spirit of Ke Yona, Ya Rona, we are bringing fans closer to the tournament by continuously taking the final showpiece around the country to showcase South Africa’s vast tourism activities, with 12 different venues used across South Africa since 2008,” added Nobanda.
