    The CAF quarter-finals date and fixtures have officially been confirmed. CAF has comfirmed fixture dates and kick-off times for the highly anticipated 2024-25 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals. South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates will be flying the country’s flag high in the CAF Champions League, while Stellenbosch FC represents in the Confederation Cup.

    Mamelodi Sundowns Set for Tough Esperance Challenge

    Mamelodi Sundowns will host Tunisia’s Esperance Sportive de Tunis in their first-leg quarter-final clash at Loftus Stadium on Tuesday, April 1, with kick-off set for 13h00 GMT (15h00 local time). The return leg will take place at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi in Tunisia on Tuesday, April 8, kicking off at 19h00 GMT (21h00 local time).

    Should Sundowns progress, they will face either Egyptian giants Al Ahly or Sudan’s Al Hilal in the semi-finals, setting up a potential blockbuster tie.

    Orlando Pirates Face MC Alger Test

    Orlando Pirates will travel to Algeria for the first leg of their quarter-final against MC Alger at the Stade 5 Juillet 1962 on Tuesday, April 1, at 19h00 GMT (21h00 local time). The return leg is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, at Orlando Stadium, with kick-off at 16h00 GMT (18h00 local time).

    If Pirates secure victory, they will meet the winner of the Pyramids FC vs AS FAR quarter-final in the next round.

    South Africa’s Stellenbosch FC will take on Egyptian giants Zamalek SC in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals. They will host the first leg at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, April 2, at 13h00 GMT (15h00 local time). The return leg will be played at the Cairo International Stadium on Wednesday, April 9, at 16h00 GMT (18h00 local time).

    A win for Stellenbosch would see them face the winner of the Simba SC vs Al Masry tie in the semi-finals.
