The game between Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United is underway in the opening PSL league match of the 2023/24 season.
We’re expecting an exciting match, both teams made almost total changes to their starting line-ups compared to last season with new players.
Chippa coach, Mammila said his team aims to control the majority of the ball position, in order to frustrate Chiefs and its supporters, giving them an advantage to win the game.
However, Chiefs coach, Molefi Ntseki has a different strategy, with the quality in the team to defeat Chippa today. Ntseki has more pressure to prove to the fans he’s the man for the job since Chiefs didn’t do as well in pre-season matches.
We’re predicting a 0-0 draw at the end of the game, considering it’s the first game of the season and clubs usually use these games for educational purposes.
They’ll also be using this game to determine whether to look for more players before the closing of the transfer window, at the end of August 2023.
