Mamelodi Sundowns have revealed a striking and creative new kit for their 2025 FIFA Club World Cup journey, catching the eye of football fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.
A Unique Artistic Collaboration
PUMA has partnered with the renowned New York-based creative studio KidSuper to craft a daring and artistic jersey and collection for Sundowns’ upcoming global campaign. While the kit prominently features the club’s signature bright yellow, the design breaks away from tradition with a vivid, abstract landscape graphic on the front. This artwork depicts a glowing sun and vibrant watercolour strokes in warm oranges and yellows, with hints of green and blue near the base, extending dynamically to the lower back of the jersey.
Where Football Meets Fashion and Art
The PUMA x KidSuper collection for Sundowns seamlessly fuses football culture with contemporary art and fashion, delivering a fresh perspective on the sport. This exciting collaboration, led by designer Colm Dillane (known as KidSuper), also includes exclusive kits and lifestyle apparel for other top clubs participating in the tournament, such as Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Al-Hilal, FC Salzburg, Palmeiras, and Monterrey.
Dillane shared his vision, saying, “I’ve always wanted to combine the worlds of art and football. This collection goes beyond the game — it’s about creativity, self-expression, and making a statement. Football itself is an art form, and this range celebrates that.”

Reflecting Mamelodi Sundowns’ Signature Style
Inspired by the evening skies over Tshwane, the Sundowns home kit captures the club’s vibrant energy and rhythm, often described as “shoeshine and piano” football. The design radiates the joy and dynamic spirit that defines the team’s playing style on the field.
