    The preliminary qualification games for the Nedbank Cup 2023/24 were played by all 16 teams from the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

    That was the first round of the cup competition, and the 16 teams from the first division (Premier Soccer League) were still to play their round of qualification matches.

    Nedbank Cup 2024 Prize Money

    The 2024 Nedbank Cup will offer a total prize money pool of R20.3 million, an increase of R15 million from the previous year’s edition. This increase in prize money highlights the tournament’s growing prestige and importance within the South African football landscape.

    The winner of the Nedbank Cup 2024 will take home a whopping R7 million in prize money. This sizable amount of money is sure to motivate teams to give their all in each match, as they vie for a chance to compete in the final and potentially lift the coveted trophy.

    The runner-up of the tournament will receive R2.5 million. This means that even teams that do not win the tournament will still receive a substantial amount of prize
