Kaizer Chiefs continued their resurgence in the Betway Premiership with a convincing 3-1 victory over AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The “new and improved” Chiefs were hungry from the first whistle, dominating possession and creating numerous scoring opportunities. Ranga Chivaviro opened the scoring in the 12th minute, capitalizing on a rebound after his initial shot was saved. The floodgates opened soon after, with Gaston Sirino doubling the lead in the 14th minute with a powerful strike from outside the box. Inacio Miguel added a third in the 24th minute, heading in from a corner kick.

AmaZulu managed to pull one back in the 47th minute through Etiosa Ighodaro, but it proved to be a mere consolation goal. Chiefs continued to control the game, comfortably seeing out the victory.
