Bafana Bafana head coach, Hugo Broos, named his final squad to represent South Africa at the upcoming AFON 2024 games.
Broos selected a strong and competitive squad with a promise to get far in the competition as compared to the previous encounters.
These players were tested in various friendly matches for the coach and his technical team to analyze and select the best among the best.
Here’s the final Bafana Bafana squad for this year’s Afcon.

While the majority of the players are from Mamelodi Sundowns due to their latest form in the league, it’s still unfortunate no player from Kaizer Chiefs was selected for the Afcon squad.
We’re hoping all the selected players will give their best to return with the cup this year.
The best part is that they have been promised bonuses as incentives to win Afcon 2024. This should motivate the players to work harder to grab that prize money together with their bonuses.
